He holds a degree in Anthropology from the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the Technical University of Lisbon and a Masters in Philosophy of Nature and Environment from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon and is a member of the Philosophy Center of this University. He was an environment journalist between 1997 and 2003 and a research assistant at OBSERVA between 2003 and 2006. He resumed collaborating with the Observatory from 2010 onwards as a researcher, participating in the projects ‘The Environment in 25 Years of Eurobarometer’ and COMPON – Comparing Climate Policy Networks. He is director of CESTRAS – Center for Studies and Strategies for Sustainability.
