Fábio Rafael Augusto, born in 1991, graduated in Sociology from UBI (University of Beira Interior – Covilhã) in 2012 and graduated in Sociology: Exclusions and Social Policies in 2014, in the same institution. He worked as a Sociologist in the CLDS + Viseu project (Local Contracts for Social Development) at the level of family, parental and social intervention in the period 2013-2015. He collaborated as a researcher on the project “TRANSE-AC – Social and environmental transition: alternatives and common” (FCT-funded) from 2016 to 2017 and as a research fellow in the 2016 ERC project “Families and Food in Hard Times” (OpenSoc) at the ICS-ULisboa (Social Sciences Institute of the University of Lisbon) on food support initiatives and the relational dynamics that are developing among its main stakeholders (volunteers and beneficiaries). This PhD project is funded by FCT (SFRH / BD / 130072/2017).
