Luís Junqueira holds a PhD in Sociology from the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon, with a project financed by an individual grant from the Foundation for Science and Technology. He was Research Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Science and Technology Studies in Graz between March and May 2017.

He is currently a Research Fellow at the First Great Sustainability Survey (Sustainable Development Barometer), underway at ICS-UL. His main research interests are the relationships between science, technology and society, sustainability practices, environmental and energy policy, science policy and digital methods
