Colloquium «Amazónia 2019: perspetivas em diálogo»

Moderated by Luísa Schmidt, the debate will be attended by José Miguel Cardoso Pereira, Fronika de Wit and Susana de Matos Viegas, being held in the Galleries of the Amazon, the visitable reserve of the National Museum of Ethnology dedicated to the peoples and cultures of Latin America.

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the event will take place at the National Museum of Ethnology, on September 26, around 6 p.m., a reflection raised by the recent fires in the Amazon rainforest, which will put into dialogue the perspectives of experts in various disciplinary areas, taking in order to assess their impacts at different scales, from the local level, on indigenous peoples.

Admission is free, subject to room capacity.
