PhD in Social Sciences and postdoctoral researcher at ICS-ULisboa.
Since 1998 he has been a researcher at OBSERVA where he has participated in several research projects, highlighting the First and Second National Surveys of Portuguese Representations and Practices on Environment (1997 and 2000), the Municipalities, Sustainability and Quality of Life (2003) -2004), the study The First Mayors of the 21st Century – New Environmental Strategies? (2003-2004) or the study Environmental Education – Balance, Opportunities and Perspectives.
He is a member of the National Commission of the ECO XXI project, which seeks to evaluate characteristics and practices of local sustainability among competing municipalities.
