PhD in sociology and assistant researcher at ICS-UL. In the scope of the Observatory participated in the study “New risks, technology and environment”. She has developed works in the area of ​​social studies of science, namely on museums and scientific culture, international mobility of scientists, children and the internet.

She is currently responsible for projects on the science of climate change, social responses to renewable energies and scientific associations, as well as collaborating on other projects in the areas of science and the environment.

She is a member of the Permanent Council of the Press of Social Sciences, of the Scientific Committee of the MIDAS Magazine – Museums and Interdisciplinary Studies and of the Reading Committee of the Portuguese Archaeologist. Received in 2009 the Research Award in Museology of the APOM Portuguese Association of Museology, by the book “The musealization of science in Portugal” (Lisbon: Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian).
